It is reported that 80% of workers feel stressed at work costing US business over $300 billion in absenteeism, disengagement, and decreased performance. Kip Hollister addressed this reality in her recent workshop, "Developing & Understanding the Value of Mindfulness at Work and In Life", at the NEHRA's (New England Human Resource Association) 2016 Annual Conference on September 28. Her workshop was delivered to a room packed with HR directors looking for ways to decrease their employee stress. Kip discussed ways employees can utilize mindfulness as a way to decrease stress and led her workshop participants in 3 mindfulness exercises: Grounding, Deep Breathing and a short guided meditation. Several participants commented on the benefits of the workshop and one attendee said: "This was the best workshop of the conference!"
