Our client, a financial services firm based in downtown Boston, is looking for a motivated Human Resources Assistant to join their HR team. You will be accountable for providing general coordination and administrative support to the Human Resources Department. Scheduling meetings and candidate interviews
Coordinating and preparing training meeting and conference logistics (venue/ catering, inviting attendees, etc.)
Processing background checks
Managing job postings on company’s website and external sites
Conducting new hire orientation, updating materials and as needed
Preparing documentation for new hires (i.e., offer letters, drug screen, offer packages, etc.), terminations (employee separation summary, exit interview, etc.), and other projects as needed
Maintaining the company's HR intranet site to keep information current
Performing reference checks
Maintaining records and compiling reports from the HR information system database
Processing and tracking department invoices and reimbursements
Arranging travel for the HR Director and/or potential candidates
Maintaining employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Acting as a central contact for employment related questions such as leaves, benefits, pay, etc.
Special projects as directed by team
Around 2-5 years' experience in HR and/or administration
Previous HR database system/coordination experience is preferred
Extreme attention to detail, able to identify minuscule discrepancies in similar documents
Able to handle confidential information with discretion
