A large university is looking for a Grants Manager to support the Finance team.
In this position, you’ll help faculty members obtain and maintain the necessary funding they need to conduct research. This involves forecasting, budgeting and analysis – a lot of traditional FP&A work – as well as functioning as a strategic business partner. You’ll be helping my client to keep track of their spending and ensure the department is running smoothly from a finance perspective. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong finance skills and/or grants experience to step into a reputable institution and have an immediate impact on the operations.

Manage a portfolio of sponsored funding for various faculty members
Prepare financial projections and review current financial projections
Perform forecasting of future financial scenarios and suggest alternative spending plans
Authorize spending for expenses and maintain accounting records as needed
Update financial databases for grants and fellowships as needed
