Boston, MA October 21, 2009 Boston Staffing Firm Hollister, Inc Welcomes March of Dimes Marketing Director Elizabeth Blackman to Corporate Headquarters Boston, October 20, 2009 - Boston staffing firm, Hollister, Inc., has announced that it will donate office space to Elizabeth Blackman, Marketing Director for the March of Dimes Massachusetts Chapter. The move will better position Blackman to stay abreast of her chapter’s activities and growth throughout the metro area. Meg Toland, Hollister's Marketing Director and an active March of Dimes Marketing Committee member, learned of Elizabeth's need for office space during a committee meeting. "When Elizabeth expressed the need for a part-time presence in downtown Boston, it only seemed natural to bring her in-house," "Community engagement is a major element of the Hollister brand. We are very happy to provide support to the March of Dimes, particularly when it means more of the money they raise can go towards their mission of giving every baby a healthy start.” While the organization is headquartered in Westborough, its growth depends on business partnerships throughout Greater Boston. Having a presence at Hollister's corporate headquarters in the heart of Boston's Financial District will allow Blackman to balance her time, collaborating with companies throughout Massachusetts. Additionally, she is excited to retain one of Hollister’s summer marketing interns, Courtney Porcella of Suffolk University, for a March of Dimes fall marketing internship. "The March of Dimes has been fortunate to build partnerships with some dynamic organizations throughout Massachusetts," explained Blackman. "I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing space with Hollister and excited about the opportunity this will provide to consistently build relationships with current and prospective Boston-based corporate affiliate partners."The next March of Dimes event will be the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Humanitarian Award Gala on November 13th at the Four Seasons Hotel. Named after the organization’s founder, the chapter honors a humanitarian in the community dedicated to helping babies and improving the lives of others. The 2009 award will honor Charlie and Kim Jacobs and the Boston Bruins Foundation for their philanthropic endeavors in New England.
