We are looking for a Controller to lead an energetic accounting team and act as a true business partner to the CFO. This position will give you the opportunity to affect the long-term development of the department and implement strategy for new business models.

Manage and develop accounting operation policies and processes
Establish, implement, and monitoring internal control procedures
Provide continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
Manage annual financial audit process
Assist in gathering fiscal information for timely filing of grant applications.
Develop and maintain historical financial data bases
Analyze and advise on business operations
Train and develop accounting staff; develop and execute a plan for continual staff development
Assist CFO with special projects especially ad hoc analysis and presentations as needed
Oversee accounting system projects and upgrades
Other duties as required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA / MBA preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP and applicable laws
5+ years management experience
Experience managing financial systems, budgets and financial reporting.
Attention to detail and accuracy, planning and organizing.
