We are seeking a capable and organized Special Projects Assistant to join the staff of a nonprofit education company in the Boston area! This is a temporary position, could become permanent for the right candidate, and it starts immediately. The ideal candidate will be very organized, have excellent computer skills, and be able to multitask. You will work closely with the executive director. Join a dynamic, fast paced environment!

·Provide project management and administrative support, such as coordinating schedules, meetings, and other duties with staff members in different departments.
·Heavy calendar, scheduling management, events and meeting preparation.
·Ensure administrative needs are met, for example administering mail, drafting letters of reference and correspondence, memos and reports, updating contacts, etc.
·Serve as primary contact for requests regarding the Executive Director.
·Assist with filing and documentation, updating information in the company’s system.
·Manage travel arrangements, expenses and reimbursements.
·General office management and administrative duties.
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
·2+ years of Administrative experience.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
·Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Outlook calendar and Salesforce are a plus.
·Ability to maintain confidential information.
Compensation: $20 per hour temporary // $45k permanent
