A higher education institution in Newton, MA, is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. This Human Resources Coordinator position is a temporary position, that could become permanent for the right candidate, and it starts immediately. This Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and will be involved in several HR functions, such as administering training, supporting employment cycle, and reporting.

Support the hiring process, posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conduct background checks, etc.
Facilitate onboarding and training of new employees.
Maintain and update employee files, including I-9 documentation and others
Support yearly performance review process
Manage time and attendance for student payroll
Track employee paid time off
Engage in special projects as needed
Bachelors degree or equivalent
3 years of experience in Human Resources
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications required, ADP is a plus
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
Compensation: $20-23 per hour temporary // $50-55k permanent
