One of our clients, a service-oriented nonprofit based in the Greater Boston area, is looking to fill a Brand and Community Associate position. The Brand and Community Associate will lead efforts to engage the community in order to increase awareness of the nonprofit and fulfill donation goals. Representing the organization to donors, volunteers, and the community; speaking publicly on behalf of the organization at public-facing events as needed
Coordinating and implementing high-priority annual projects aimed at community engagement
Maintaining relationships with donors and retailers through constant outreach and communication in order to maximize donations
Planning logistics for on-going community events and meetings (daytime, evening, and weekend) by organizing volunteers, invitation lists and event schedules; outlining site visits, and managing follow-up
Creating marketing materials, managing email blasts, and working with the Marketing and PR teams to develop communication plans and refine outreach strategy
Monitoring engagement data to track progress and ensure networking goals are met
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Business, Organizational Development, or related experience in a Marketing role
2+ years of non-profit, political campaign, or other grassroots organizing experience
Excellent networker and communicator; able to build and maintain relationships
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
Organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task and be proactive
Passion for nonprofit work and commitment to mission
Weekend and evening hours required, able to walk up and down stairs, bend, reach, and lift 40lbs.
