The Human Resources Assistant will be supporting the talent management team and will manage projects involving recruiting, new hire on-boarding, and monthly reporting. Utilizing Applicant tracking System (ATS) to coordinate recruiting tasks – overseeing open positions, drafting job descriptions, reviewing resumes, etc.
Managing job postings on external job board websites
Communicating with candidates to schedule phone screens and in-person interviews throughout various offices nationwide
Processing initial assessments and background checks for prospective hires and completing next steps by administering reference checks
Drafting and distributing formal letters to employees as needed regarding offers, promotions, and terminations
Assisting with standard on-boarding and termination processes such as new hire surveys and exit interviews
Running weekly and monthly recruitment activity reports
Distributing the monthly open positions memo to all current employees and maintaining an open positions spreadsheet for the team
Providing general administrative support to the Human Resources group including but not limited to travel coordination, meeting and conference room scheduling, contract management, catering orders, invoice processing, and document creation
Bachelor’s degree with a competitive GPA
1+ years of experience in recruitment/talent sourcing with previous experience working in a collaborative Human Resources department
Must have a strong administrative and client service oriented background
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook email and calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher preferred)
Excellent time and project management capabilities with proven track record of exceeding deadlines and expectations
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently
