One of our major clients located in the Greater Boston area, has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer to support the Technology team on a contract basis. The person in this position will work closely with the help desk/security teams and requires solid experience in the Office365 environment to configure mailbox and server migrations, manage successful deployments, and actively maintain a highly secure system for all users. This project will require management of email migration from Exchange to Office365, support of Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), creation of PowerShell scripts necessary for various Office365 apps, and monitoring of the entire Office 365 infrastructure on-site and in cloud-based/hybrid environments.
Must have at least 3 years of hands on experience managing Microsoft Office 365 applications and services such as One Drive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Skype for Business, Teams, and Active Directory
Must have at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2 or 2016
Experience supporting Active Directory, Azure AD Connect and Single sign-on (SSO)
Proven understanding and working knowledge of PowerShell Scripting
Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), VMWare and NetWorker (data backup and recovery) is a plus
This is a 3 month contract position with the potential for extension which requires full time onsite work in Boston, MA. Candidates must be able to start work in Boston within 2 weeks of offer. Initial in-person interview with Hiring Manager, with second in-person interview with team members to follow.
