Global Biotech/Pharma company located in Waltham, MA is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in an exciting and fast-paced environment. As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the consolidated reporting and ensuring accuracy in accounting across the various business units. Also, as a member of the global accounting division, this position will have the opportunity to become actively involved in many of the more strategic projects and initiatives taking place throughout the company.
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and reporting packages.
Review and maintain the consolidated charts of accounts and assist in the setup and rollup requirements for G/L accounts.
Review consolidated journal entries and reconcile any differences between reporting.
Monitor the consolidated chart of accounts and assist in the rollup of GL accounts.
Prepare management cash flow reports and analysis.
Responsible for tracking of new acquisitions, buyout, and divestiture details for accuracy and completeness.
Document monthly, quarterly, and annual adherence to internal control procedures for SOX compliance.
Assist in preparation of work papers and schedules for the quarterly/annual audit process.
Respond to any issues or inquiries presented by internal/external auditors.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
MBA, MSA, or CPA preferred
2+ years of Accounting experience
Public Accounting experience preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal skills
Good prioritization, planning, coordination and time management skills
