As the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Quality functions in all aspects of inventory and financial management which will include decision support, strategic planning, and financial stewardship. This is a highly visible role that collaborates with all levels of the company along with having exposure to Senior Leadership.
Acts as a business partner to the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Quality teams related to inventory, production, and manufacturing costs.
Responsible for advancing initiatives related to inventory accounting, review of vendor contracts for raw material purchases, inventory related systems implementations, etc.
Supports cost center overhead spending for the Technical Operations and Quality organizations.
Prepares the quarterly forecast and annual budget submissions for product Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Identify changes in demand, supply chain, internal manufacturing, and other factors that have the potential to drive change in COGS. Effectively detail reviews and challenges business assumptions to improve accuracy in budget and forecasts.
Become a subject matter expert in the Company’s ERP and EPM systems related to cost accounting.
Prepares financial analysis and commentary to Finance and business partners in assessing actual product cost with comparisons to budget and forecasts.
Compile and develop clear and well thought out financial presentations for trend reviews, budget/ forecast assumptions, or ad hoc topics.
Develop financial models to support business opportunities.
Ownership of the annual inventory standard cost reset process.
Ownership of the month end close reporting process related to inventory and COGS.
Ensures compliance with Corporate Policy, and Sarbanes-Oxley rule 404 controls and executes internal controls in a timely manner.
