Located in Waltham, a $1B privately held organization is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. The position is open due to a recent promotion and will report to a Director of Accounting.
The position is a hands-on mix of general ledger, financial reporting, technical accounting research, budgeting & forecasting and will oversee a team of 3 – 5 people.
Compensation depends on experience but is up to 130K + bonus and includes 6% 401k match. The work/life balance is excellent across all departments and is 40 hours/week outside of month/quarter-end close.

Lead the month/quarterly/year-end close process
Review and analyze monthly financial statements for accuracy
Build accurate financial reports that meet required deadlines
Perform budgeting & forecasting as needed
Prepare detailed account analysis on corporate tax accounts and prepare the annual tax provisions, deferrals, and disclosures
Perform technical accounting research as needed
Prepare selected work papers for various audits
Supervise 3 - 5 people and provide mentorship and career development opportunities
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
At least 8+ years of Accounting experience required
