Publicly Traded Biotech/ Pharma company is seeking an Accounting Manager (SEC Reporting) to join their corporate HQ located in Burlington, MA. As the Accounting Manager (SEC Reporting), you will oversee internal/external financial reporting, technical accounting research, and global consolidations. This is a highly-visible role reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Controller along with having exposure to the executive team.
Oversee SEC reporting (8-K, 10-K, 10-Q) documents and disclosures for the quarterly and annual financial filings, including footnotes.
Research technical accounting pronouncements and interpret findings to the organization.
Provide interpretation of new IFRS/GAAP/SEC rules and regulations and their effect on the business.
Owns the worldwide financial consolidation process.
Create/maintain SEC calendar to inform business partners of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes (financial close, BOD package, press release and 10-Q/K).
Oversee stock compensation and EPS calculations.
Support month-end/year-end closing.
Collaborate with investor relations and quarterly earnings release.

Bachelor’s degree required (MSA / MBA preferred)
5-10 years of experience required
Prior public accounting experience
Strong Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management
