We are seeking a capable and organized Administrative Assistant to join the team at a Non-profit in the Boston area! This is a temporary position, and it starts immediately. The ideal candidate will be very organized, have knowledge and extremely proficient in Microsoft Office.

Assist with processing check requests, reconciling out monthly credit care bills, employment verification, entering new hires into the DOR data base, etc.
Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves
Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars
Collaborate with the Recruiter to post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes
Manage the department’s telephone center and address queries accordingly
Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
Provide orientations for new employees by sharing on-boarding packages and explaining company policies
Strong computer skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and Word)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
1+ years of experience in an office environment and/or data entry experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
