One of our clients, an Investment Management firm, is looking for an HR Business Partner. This is a full time, temporary position that starts immediately. Ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills (collaboration, advanced problem-solving orientation and decision making, teamwork, conflict resolution) with ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion; and maintaining a high level of professionalism and strict confidentiality. Proven skill with Microsoft Office, Excel and HRIS systems a must.

Support management in identifying developmental opportunities for staff and creation of sustainable succession planning
Project management as needed for client-based and company-wide organizational development activities.
Coaching new and experienced managers through performance management process
Staffing support as required, particularly for senior level openings in client groups. Lead organization design and headcount planning activities.
Provide input into and implement outcomes of decisions relating to HR policies, compensation programs, procedures, practices, and processes.
Develop effective relationships with internal and external partners
Knowledge and demonstrated application of employment laws and regulations including but not limited to Title VII, FLSA, OSHA, multi-state Workers' Compensation, ERISA, FMLA/MMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.
Proven success managing employee relations programs with the ability to coach and advise managers with appropriate intervention to resolve employee relations / legal issues
Coordinate mobility packages with the Global Mobility Team, managers, international HR team and finance ( this includes visa, relocation and housing, offer package).
5+ years relevant experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with all levels of the organization, strong leadership, and human relations skills.
Track record of organizational development and training initiatives requiring stand-up presentation skills.
Possess a high energy level, sound business judgment and be a self-starter who is results-oriented.
Experience in guiding management through annual bonus cycle and salary/promotional cycles with a good understanding of competitive pay practices.
Must have experience with obtaining immigration visas and prior experience working on ex-pat mobility packages.
Experience in the financial services industry, investment management/mutual funds.
