Performs general office duties including typing, photocopying, filing, ordering office supplies, placing catering orders, and reserving space for meetings and events.
Processes financial payments and reimbursements using Concur and Oracle platforms for Purchasing Card and/or Corporate Card.
Responds to internal and external requests for information; and processes recommendation letters.
Transcribes audio, proofreads and edits documents; while maintaining confidentiality.
Scans books and adds digital bookmarks in Adobe; maintains accurate and organized paper and electronic files.
Maintains class websites using Canvas platform; posts course materials and announcements and arranges office hours appointments.
Facilitates updates to faculty webpages; manages aspects of research assistant hiring and supervision.
Makes domestic and international travel arrangements; manages complex calendars; conducts ad hoc internet and library research.
Demonstrated administrative support experience
Superior organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to forge strong collaborative working relationships
Ability to effectively handle quickly changing priorities and adjust work flow accordingly.
Must have strong computer and transcription skills, including proficiency with Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with research and citation tools such as EndNote, Westlaw, and Dropbox a plus.
Ability to learn new software programs and technology as needed.
