A non-profit organization is looking looking to hire a dedicated Grant Writer to assist with grant proposals for their organization. This is a temporary and a part-time position, and starts immediately. Work-from-home may be permitted, if necessary.
Ideal candidate must have proficient writing skills and knowledge of fundraising methods. They must also exhibit deadline-driven behaviors, and be team players with outstanding multitasking abilities.

Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Displaying adherence to organization’s mission.
Maintaining proficient knowledge of organization’s history and programs.
Assisting with the execution of development department's strategy.
Identifying grant funding opportunities.
Writing, submitting and managing grant proposals.
Furnishing prospective funders with supporting documents.
Collaborating with Executive Director and Director of Development to attract funders and compile annual reports.
Maintaining records in hard copies and computer databases.
3-5 years of experience in grant writing.
Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
