Plan and coordinate center events, update website using Drupal, and perform administrative tasks.
Develop e-newsletters, brochures, fliers, social media, etc.
Coordinate and communicate information about events, seminars, poster sessions, meetings, symposium and workshops.
Handle event logistics, i.e., registration, determining schedules and venues, selecting caterers and menu, overseeing third-party vendors, while being conscientious of the budget.
Help develop, maintain, and expand social media programs on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and the like.
Use University’s B2P system for placing orders, purchase order lookup, and obtaining packing slips; and carry out routine administrative duties including filing, mail distribution, photocopying, ordering office supplies.
Schedule meetings, overseeing conference room (scheduling and notification), assisting colleagues with tasks in a team-oriented approach, and other miscellaneous office operations.
A high school diploma
At least three years’ related experience
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, email management, and verbal and written communication skills
accuracy and close attention to detail
Proficiency with typical office equipment, e.g., copiers, scanners, etc.
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat Professional strongly preferred
