A prestigious institute in Cambridge, MA is looking for a Part-time assistant at their Student Life Dean's office. The ideal applicant will be customer service oriented, with exceptional speaking, writing, data management and negotiating skills. The candidate will work closely with the Dean, with an option for flexible hours and days.

Represents University Dining to internal and external stakeholders, outside vendors, students, and parents in the process of completing routine day to tasks.
Employs in-depth understanding of work-area and University policies and procedures in order to respond to internal and external inquiries.
Process bills on a weekly basis; costing to appropriate account and route bills to appropriate office.
Seek quotes from appropriate suppliers for new equipment as needed.
Create purchase orders for new equipment, standing fiscal year POs, JVs, and other procurement related activities.
Serves as the first point of contact for normal operational questions and inquires to include, but not limited to sign ups, student billing, change period, IAP, summer operations.
Submit work order requests, telephone/data repairs or installation.
Assists supervisor and department staff with event planning and meeting preparation.
Update website for Dining, when directed from supervisor (holiday hours, important notices and dates, announcements and other situations as warranted).
Coordinates ordering office supplies using ECAT.
Assists in filling out required city forms for business license renewal, alcohol license renewal.
Assist with running front desk, answering RL&D phone during breaks or employee shortages.
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Experience working in a professional office environment is strongly preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially excel and word.
Ability to lift 10-15 pounds.
Detail orientation and ability to multi task.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping composure.
