A global Automobile Research Institute is seeking an exceptional Office Operations Manager to execute daily operations at their Cambridge, MA location. This high visibility role offers direct impact on company culture and daily operations. Key components include employee/guest experience, vendor management, collaboration on facilities/space-planning and partnership with HR, administrative and IT functions.
Ideal candidate must be self-driven and commit to the Institute's mission and values, with a proven track record in office and facilities management.

Deliver a warm, professional and culturally sensitive guest experience
Manage conference room schedules and ensure rooms are dressed and ready for meetings
Provide mainline phone support
Maintain information flow throughout the institute (local and distributed offices)
Be a culture carrier and encourage participation in team events and off-sites
Manage catering requests at local institute sites
Take on special projects to bolster employee engagement (SWAG, celebrations, etc)
Manage all vendor services including: food and beverage, equipment, supplies, janitorial, security, and maintenance
Ensure general cleanliness and appearance of the office (lobby, kitchen, conference rooms, bathrooms, and other common areas)
Deliver a great on-boarding experience to new hires in partnership with HR, IT and Hiring Managers. Inclusive of space set up, equipment provisioning, food program, site access, site orientation, new hire luncheon, etc.
Troubleshoot minor IT/AV issues onsite and be judicious in requesting IT team’s support.
3+ years of office management experience with an emphasis on facilities and vendor management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Poise and confidence when interfacing with team members at all levels of the organization; high emotional IQ
Proven project management and organizational skills
Exhibit sound judgement when managing multiple competing priorities
Open to giving and receiving direct and constructive feedback
An extremely high sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
