A thriving Philanthropic Association in Boston, MA is seeking a detail-oriented, problem solving individual with strong communication skills to join their Development team in a part-time, temporary role. Strong candidates have an eye for detail, are driven to deliver accurate, timely information and understand how quality, back office operations are essential in supporting a values-aligned and meaningful donor experience.
This is a Part-Time, Temporary position with a possibility to turn permanent for the right candidate.

Support the daily operation of the fundraising database (Salesforce), which includes keeping accurate donor records, gift entry and processing, and gift acknowledgement.
Ensure database integrity and produce procedural recommendations
Process donor contributions including checks, iATS and EFTs transactions
Prepare accurate, timely and appropriate donor acknowledgements and invoices and ensure gifts are acknowledged in a timely manner
Maintain pledge documentation and payment schedules
Create reports, custom reports and analysis
At least two years of fundraising, database/CRM administration or accounting experience or other transferable experience, with demonstrated ability to enter data and pull reports from a CRM database
Ability and desire to manage many details and deliver quality product
Excellent time management skills
Ability to handle multiple, disparate tasks and prioritize
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
Excited about and effective in working autonomously and within a cross-functional team
Ability to clearly communicate verbally as well in writing, with most written communication done via email and donor stewardship documents
Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and mail merges
