A leading Property Management Firm in Newton, MA is looking to hire an HR Benefits Assistant on a temporary basis. The ideal Assistant is someone with experience working in an office setting, preferably in the HR department, and one who displays excellent communication skills, both in speaking and writing, as well as efficiency in working in a fast-paced environment.

Assist with On-boarding/ Off-boarding process- Add new hire to spreadsheet and assign ADP ID, prepare new hire materials, I-9 documentation/ create Term letter, close benefits and employee files.
Manage company employee bills and invoices.
Maintain wellness activities like arranging competitions and prizes for winners.
Arrange for lunch meetings by placing catering orders and organizing rooms/venues.
Keep up with labor laws and assist with tracking, filing and chart updates.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Associates or Bachelors Degree required
1+ years of HR or administrative experience
Previous HR database system/coordination experience is preferred
Ability to maintain confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll/HRIS experience is a plus
