A non-profit consulting firm focusing on education in Watertown, MA, is on a hunt for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their growing business. Ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, can wear different hats, and work efficiently in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Provide support to company executives, including travel, timekeeping, expense reporting, oversight and full management of the leader’s calendar including complex calendar management
Manage the logistics and details of all company external events including small conferences with up to 50 attendees approximately four or more larger scale events per year
Planning and documentation support for the leadership development process, work, and projects, and events through locating written materials/presentations relevant to leadership development work and tracking/ documenting project and event planning progress
As vacations or absences take place, you will be requested to support coverage for admin tasks.

3-5 years of experience in an administrative role required.
Experience with complex calendar coordination required.
Experience with and comfort leading events coordination required.
Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite: especially Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of Salesforce preferred but not required.
Must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize and handle multiple, deadline-driven tasks effectively and efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, intellectually curious and willing to do research and ask questions to find solutions, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team environment.
Highly self-motivated and willing to proactively take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Ability and willingness to manage up and anticipate needs. Eagerness to be a thought partner as well as a support to the leaders in the executive suite.
