A large Boston-based Telemedicine Company is looking to hire a Medical Reviewer to manage their Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS). The Medical Record Reviewer carries out key initiatives related to reporting and improving HEDIS for the company.The primary responsibility of this position will be managing the HEDIS medical records review project including coordination of medical records data collection and chart reviewing. Ideal candidate must possess skill such as professionalism, hard-working and reliability.

Manages relationship with provider sites to collect data for HEDIS, EQRO, and NCQA data for various projects in the firm.
Accurately and efficiently conduct electronic record reviews
Successfully complete required medical record reviewer training and Inter-Rater Reliability testing.
Communicate effectively and professionally with outside provider offices, clinics, and hospitals.
Participate in various medical record abstraction projects aimed at measuring outcomes in support of quality improvement projects.
Abide by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements
Strong computer skills, able to navigate variety of EMR systems at off-site locations
Commitment to confidentiality of patient health information
Able to work independently, strong communication skills, detail oriented
Able to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadline requirements.
Ability to manage and meet deadlines. Professional demeanor and business attire is required when conducting off-site reviews
Be able to work collaboratively with staff throughout the organization
Ability to use HEDIS medical records review tool and to manipulate data in Excel and/or Access
Ability to manage competing deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
