One of our biggest clients, a prestigious Higher Education institute in Cambridge, MA is looking to hire a Data Integrity Assistant within their Alumni Department and support the Data Integrity Officer. An ideal candidate would be someone with strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and data entry experience.

Creates new records and conducts the timely processing of biographic data; including, but not limited to- addresses, phone numbers, names, relationships, committee participation, student and alumni activities, mailing list maintenance, staff assignments and alumni awards.
Conducts the timely processing of gifts and pledges, with special focus on gifts received at University Annual Fund events, student philanthropy campaigns, gifts from Point-of-sale machines, crowdfunding and offline sources. Also will process gifts and pledges made online. Processes modifications and refunds of gifts/pledges as necessary and/or requested by donors.
Serves as one of the primary staff members responsible for distributing inquiries that stream in from the ticketing system.
Documents data and gift entry processes, procedures and policies.
Provides front-line contact and a high quality of customer service with all constituents serviced by the Office of Records, which requires a constant adaptable and complex approach. Must field incoming calls from alumni, donors, parents, students, widows, others, and advancement colleagues, by answering inquiries and easily determining next course of action.
Reviews information that is entered into the database for accuracy and integrity purposes to ensure consistency with documented business practices. Works closely with the Director to research and resolve data processing discrepancies or inconsistencies. Reconciles reported inconsistencies or errors.
Verifies and updates personal data on ADVANCE by researching addresses, phone numbers and company names using online resources and other tools when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience in a university or non-profit setting desired.
Must have experience working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills.
Must have data entry experience and a professional telephone manner.
Database experience essential, as is proficiency with using a Windows environment.
Familiarity with ADVANCE from Ellucian a plus.
Ability to work autonomously under pressure with time constraints, good multi-tasking abilities.
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills essential as is ability to work in a team-based environment.
Capacity to work occasional evenings and weekends during peak processing seasons is required.
