As the Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll be part of the corporate tax group and responsible for ensuring compliance for federal, state and local taxes across multiple portfolios. This will be a highly collaborative and visible role that works with both the Manager and Director of Tax.
Responsible for tax compliance activities including preparation, review, and filing of federal, state, and local tax forms. Review quarterly tax packages and prepare LP returns.
Responsible for maintenance of REIT income testing compliance.
Ensure the proper treatment for IRC requirements under IRC code § 704.
Oversee TRS provision and ensure proper compliance for 1099 filings.
Review quarterly book/tax packages.
Ensure proper tax treatment for companies’ subsidiaries
Maintain Company 704 Analysis
Ad hoc projects as assigned
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business Required.
3+ years of tax experience within public accounting or corporate tax.
