As the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for roughly 1,000+ employees located here in the US (multi-state). This position will report to the Payroll Manager but will also closely support the HR and accounting teams on various ad hoc projects.
Responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing for 1,000+ employees.
Responsible for data entry of payroll transactions into ADP and other payroll applications
Provide reconciliation of payroll and 401(k) Plan.
Prepare and report biweekly general ledger interface (GLI) to finance and balance period-end adjustments as needed
Compile reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts
Management of employee payroll files
Produce, review and reconcile payroll audit reports
Process improvement and audit measures associated with payroll
Responsible for compliance with Federal and State laws.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
3+ years of payroll experience, multi-state experience preferred
Must be organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
ADP WorkforceNow experience preferable
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management
Expected to have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and policies, and federal and state regulations within the HR and compensation fields
Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
