Highly respected global firm headquartered in Boston is looking for a Payroll Coordinator OR Senior Payroll Specialist to join their team. The title depends on the experience level of the candidate; i.e. we are open to a junior person or a more senior person and will title and compensate the role according to their skill level and expertise.
Ideal candidates should have 1+ experience and be comfortable in a fast-paced & dynamic environment, able to interact with all levels of the organization.
Reporting to the Manager of Payroll, the Payroll Coordinator OR Senior Payroll Specialist will be a critical part of a small, tight-knit and friendly team.
Additionally, the Payroll Coordinator OR Senior Payroll Specialist will process payroll on a semi-monthly basis as well as compile and distribute payroll, tax and accounting information throughout the organization.

Handle payroll processing on a semi-monthly basis for between 1,800 - 2,500 employees
Work with Payroll Manager to coordinate Federal, State, Work Comp and In-house audits
Update system with new deductions and earnings codes including taxability set up
Work with Finance and Human Resource peers to build good working relationships and partner to get the work done
Ensure quarterly and annual tax filings are correct and reconciled to payroll reports
Partner with outside vendors (401K and other benefits)
Respond to employee inquiries raised and providing timely and accurate information
Bachelors Accounting/Finance or related field preferred
Experience using ADP or Workday is a plus
Strong Microsoft Office Skills- Excel/Word/Outlook
