Controller - Kendall Square
Looking to hire a motivated, eager Controller to be a part of our growing team. This position assists early stage life science clients in broad array of Finance, HR and Accounting needs. Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with financial expertise
- Develop financial controls and procedures
- Oversee reporting process and monthly close
- Handle payroll and manage new employees/staffing changes
- Manage invoices and create reports for Budget to Actual variance analysis
- Prepare board materials
- Recommend and execute system upgrades, process improvements and other advancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Ability to travel to client locations within Boston/Cambridge
- Team oriented
