Our client, a forklift manufacturing company based in Jessup, MD is looking to hire an HR Manager to lead and partner with a team of HR Professionals. Responsible for all aspects of onboarding. Establish corporate onboarding and New Hire Orientation process ensuring newly hired staffs members are acclimated to the culture of the company.
Provide business support that ensures adherence to HR programs, initiatives, and best practices
Supervise, manage, and direct a team of HR professionals.
Respond to sensitive and confidential issues and concerns raised by all levels of employees in a confidential, timely, and objective manner.
Serve as an internal consultant to managers and employees providing advice on a range of organizational issues.
Oversee the recruitment process and work with the team to establish metrics and a strategic recruitment process. Assist with recruiting when necessary.
Assist with processing payroll
Handle employee relations situations with tact and neutrality.
Implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction
Work to implement new or improve internal HR policies, procedures, practices, programs, provide guidance to manager and employees accordingly
Guides, trains and directs managers and employees on the implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure appropriate legal adherence to federal and state laws related (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, I9/eVerify etc.) and company compliance, partnering with others in HR.
Minimum 8-10 years of professional level HR experience, including HR Business Partner and Generalist roles (3 years in a leadership/manager role).
BA/BS in HR, Business or related field required.
Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA preferred
