A prestigious university in Cambridge is looking to hire an experienced Human Resource Administrator to provide comprehensive HR support to the department. Manage all new hires, terminations, extensions, other transactions and appointment changes
Maintain electronic HR files for all staff and facility
Manage job postings on the website and external sites and assist with department recruiting
Conduct new hire orientation and update materials as needed
Prepare documentation for new hires (i.e., offer letters, drug screen, background checks, offer packages, etc.), terminations (employee separation summary, exit interview, etc.), and other projects as needed
Maintain the departments HR intranet site to keep information current
Filing papers and documents into appropriate employee files- maintaining files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Special projects as directed by team including department annual awards and recognition
Minimum of 5 years HR experience required.
Associate/Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency and skills using Macintosh, Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of SAP, Cognos,
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a
Analytical skills with strong follow-through
Previous HR database system/coordination experience is preferred
Experience screening candidates including reviewing resumes and conducting phone interviews
Additional exposure to general Human Resources functions is a plus. This includes benefits, compensation, payroll, HRIS, and full-cycle recruitment activities
