Our client, a well known insurance company located in Boston, is looking for a Claims Representative to join their fast-paced team! The Claims Representative will handle mostly automotive claims and require a strong attention to detail. In this role, candidates will be expected to work with a sense of urgency and support other departments as needed. The position will start out remote and have the potential to be in the office sometime next year.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, and phone
Research and assist with claims related issues
Update policy information, create reports in Excel
Receive and process requests and check quality
Gather data on and comply with all company guidelines and policies
Serve as the point of contact for claims related questions/ issues
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, troubleshoot, and think outside the box
Experience working with customers/ clients in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidential information
