Corporate Accountant

Global professional services company is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to their growing team. This position will support multiple areas of Accounting and Financial Operations including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, internal reporting, budget vs. actual analysis, fixed assets, and SOX controls. We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience within accounting & finance and a Bachelor’s degree. Public Accounting / CPA is a plus, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly GL close process

·      Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals

·      Budget vs. actual analysis

·      Prepare internal and external financial reporting package and present findings to leadership

·      Ensure compliance with SEC and SOX guidelines

·      Participate in ad hoc projects with Manager and VP as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

·      2-4 years of experience within Accounting & Finance

·      CPA / Public accounting experience is preferred, but not required

·      Knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, and SOX

·      Strong communication and attention to detail
