High-growth healthcare company in Boston is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to join their fast-paced accounting function.
Ideal candidates will have 3 or more years of corporate accounting experience and be passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry. This role is intended to grow into a leadership position within the Accounting team.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Lead month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations
Occasionally support AP/AR functions (vendor invoicing, billing, etc.)
Support the Controller with technical ad-hoc projects as needed
Design and implement new accounting policies and procedures
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of strong accounting experience
Exposure to healthcare industry or startup environment nice to have, but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High-energy, personable, reliable, and works well with others.
