National health services company experiencing significant growth is seeking a Senior Manager to play a lead role in the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting process. This position will have a significant impact in overseeing various areas of technical accounting including, but not limited to, Business Combinations, Lease Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Debt Financing, and others. Additionally, the Senior Manager will support quarterly and yearly SEC filing and SOX controls. This is a highly visible role within the organization that will partner closely with c-level executives and multiple other business units.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA and 7-12 years of experience. Public Accounting experience (Big 4 or Large Regional) with strong technical accounting exposure is required.
Oversee technical accounting areas such as Lease Accounting, Debt Financing, Revenue Recognition, Business Combinations, and Equity Administration
Support quarterly (10Q) and yearly (10K) financial reporting
Partner with various business segments throughout the company regarding financial reporting, policies & procedures, etc.
Participate in operational controls and long-term planning activities
Additional ad hoc projects with Chief Financial Offer and other senior leadership as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
CPA and public accounting experience required (Big 4 or Large Regional firm)
7-12 years of experience
Knowledge of SEC and SOX guidelines
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
