Our client at a growing nonprofit are looking for people to help in their various offices throughout the Boston area! Their ideal candidate is someone who is willing to learn, has excellent communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment. This assignment can last 3-6 months but can get extended. **Majority of the locations need candidates who are bilingual in various languages. They need to be proficient in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, or Haitian**
Job Details:
- Serves as one of the initial contacts for customers requesting assistance and referring to the appropriate Housing staff for services.
- Responsible for the department’s daily clerical functions and general office procedures.
- Maintain records of correspondence and in-house communications.
- Perform data entry and update confidential documents.
- Work with other departments regarding purchasing, personnel, payroll, and other administrative matters.
- Speak to customers by phone, in person (in the future), and email/ chat.
Qualifications:
- High school degree required/ BA or AA a plus!
- Experience working in a professional office environment is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language proficiencies (English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, or Haitian Creole)
- Customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
$15-16/hr
