Human Resources Assistant
Our client, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in Lowell, MA is looking for an HR Assistant to join their team during a hiring push. We are looking for someone to serve as a point contact for any applicants and be the liaison between the community and the HR team. 1+ year experience in HR required. This position is a temp to hire opportunity and they are looking for someone with immediate availability. Qualified candidates please reply with your resume.
This role will require you to be onsite 4-5 days/week. Must be comfortable working in a healthcare setting Proper COVID-19 safety measures are in place.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point contact for applicants and the community answering calls and emails
- Schedule interviews with candidates and coordinate interviews with the hiring managers
- Post open requisitions to the website and job boards, update job status in the ATS
- Participate in the recruiting process and make sure candidates have a good experience
- Collaborate with the HR team to come up with innovative ways of finding diverse talent
- Work with career centers, colleges and other organizations to recruit talent
- Oversee the college internship program from recruiting to hiring and onboarding
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree strong preferred
- 1-2 years of HR experience needed
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and with credentialing.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly visible, creative environment.
- Experience using ATS system, must be proficient with MS Office.
- Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and oral) needed
Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 **Will require onsite work
Pay: $21-$24hr depending on experience
