Our client, an industry leader in forklift distribution and service, is looking for a go-getter to join their team as a Sales Representative in the Jessup, MD area. Your territory will be covering the Northern VA and PG County area of Maryland. Implement solution-based sales strategies that uncover new business opportunities and manage account growth within the forklift industry
Develop new business relationships within an assigned account base
Sell material handling solutions to existing customers and prospects across various locations within the region
Deliver presentation and educate customers of the benefits of the product line and services to provide a complete material handling solution for their warehousing
Prepare and present professional corporate business proposals and executive presentations
Build and foster meaningful business relationship and internal partnerships
Ensure high quality customer satisfaction and retention
Incorporate all applicable sales stimulation strategies, programs, and other targeting contacts such as cold calling
Prospecting, networking and market knowledge
Produce quotations and forward to applicable departments within Alliance for approval and processing
Conduct demonstrations of equipment in the presence of potential and existing customers as required
2 years + of relevant sales experience
Ability to develop business relationships with clients and decision makers in a corporate structure
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Negotiating and closing skills
Material Handling or Industrial Warehousing, Industrial Equipment knowledge preferred
Bachelors or equivalent degree preferred
Daily travel is required; must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Your territory will be covering the Northern VA and PG County area of Maryland
Base Salary $40 - $50K + Commission
Hours: 8am-5pm M-F (hours may vary)
