"Best Places to Work" professional services company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Finance team.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience managing accounting functions in professional services firm. They will have supervisory experience and be excited about mentoring a small team, implementing new processes, and growing into a Controller position in the future.
Oversee month-end close processes
Generate and analyze continual financial reporting relating to cash flow, balance sheet, and income statements
Collaborate with CFO on forecasting/budgeting
Consolidate cross-divisional financials
Support quarterly financials presentations
Oversee and mentor a small accounting team
Design and implement new policies to streamline current processes
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years hands-on corporate accounting experience
Professional services industry is strongly desired
Prior management or supervisory experience
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
