Our client, a financial services firm in Boston, is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This Payroll Administrator will ensure that payroll is processed correctly and on time. The best candidate for this Human position will have experience working with confidential data and will have familiarity with Workday and UltiPro. Executing the entire payroll process, including inputting transactions, auditing earnings, taxes, and providing reporting to the team
Managing tax compliance and performing tax reconciliations; staying up-to-date on changing regulations
Verifying all tax filings for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
Working with third party administrators for global payroll needs
Assisting with the development and implementation of payroll operations; recommending ways to improve the process
Responding to requests accurately and on time
Working as a point of contact on payroll-related questions
At least three years of payroll experience required
Experience using Workday, UltiPro experience a plus
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to juggle priorities
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Analytical mindset and strong technical skills
Strong collaboration and customer service skills
