Data Integration Technical Business Analyst
Our client, an investment firm in Boston, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their company on a contract basis. This role is expected to facilitate project meetings to discuss end user requirements, project status, project issues, testing planning, and/or deployment needs. This ideal candidate will have experience writing functional specification documents, test plans, reports, training plans and deployment plans. Responsibilities:
- Work with end users to map out and document business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Develop and execute testing procedures
- Support project tracking and monitoring
- Serve as subject matter, process, and/or operational proxy for end users
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Computer Science
- 3 years of demonstrated experience writing functional specifications and test plans/test scripts
- 2 years of prior experience leading and facilitating project meetings
- Ability to work with non-technical end users to interpret user requirements
- Working knowledge of investment terminology and Microsoft SQL Server
