Our client is excited to bring on a Marketing & Communications Specialist who will be responsible for developing content for email, marketing collateral, web and social media campaigns; creating and monitor frameworks to measure and provide recommendations and feedback to the team at large; providing input and implementation social and digital media strategies; communicating guidance to staff members working within the programs, and ensuring the programs run smoothly from a marketing perspective; proactively creating and drafting plans for different markets.
Responsibilities:
· Develop ongoing email and content strategies, such as performing research on targeted audiences, create messages for the specific audiences, test email messaging for quality and performance, and optimize and recommend next steps with a shift in strategy in needed
· Develop analytical framework to track, text, and report on marketing communication effectiveness; make concrete recommendations
· Execute Marketing programs communications, including writing, designing of any communications materials with partners or stakeholders
· Mange process of collecting, tracking, writing, editing and revising of ads, press releases, news and blog
· Produce marketing materials including brochures, flyers, press releases as well as web content, utilizing creative marketing techniques and strategies including developing a social media program.
· Oversee all aspects of newsletter production with internal and external vendors to include writing, editing, soliciting articles and artwork, coordinating design and layout, distribution, and mailings; ensure the successful distribution
· Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong writing background
- 3+ years’ experience in journalism or partnership with news stations
- Ability to interview individuals in the community, such as Senior community members, CEO's, Vice Presidents and create a narrative and story for production
- Prior experience writing and editing email content and social media outlets
- Previous experience publishing articles or curating press releases
- Team-oriented and strategic
- Technical experience with Salesforce and Pardot
- Familiarity with the AP Style Guide
- Ability to research and curate reports
- Able to edit other individuals work and put that content into one cohesive document
- Someone open-minded, flexible, has a positive mindset and is open to asking questions to gather information
- Life-long learners and professionalism are a must
