Our client is a retail company looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer on a contract basis. This individual will be responsible for supporting and managing the data and voice networks critical to day to day operations, applying engineering, troubleshooting, technical analysis, and problem-solving expertise. Work with a team to design and engineer router and switched networks
Support advanced problem analysis and isolate highly complex issues
Develop effective working relationships with technology and business stakeholders
Enhance network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Provide technical leadership and coaching to other members of the team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineer or related areas
7+ years of hands-on experience networking with a CCNP or equivalent
Advanced knowledge in internet protocols such as HTTP(S), TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS network routing and switching
Knowledge of system management tools like Ansible, HPNA, Cisco Prime and Cisco DNA
