Mid-Level Back End Java Developer
Our client is a health care service provider looking to hire a Back End Java Developer on a contract to hire basis. This individual will work on the latest big data, cloud technologies, and development methodologies involving cloud computing, NoSQL databases, security, encryption, data movement in order to leverage data and IoT events to deliver critical capabilities. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with digital product management to build industry leading digital experiences
- Collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, platform issues
- Partner with product management, architects and peer groups
- Develop and test APIs/Services
- Participate in Agile process in product development in a CI/CD environment
- Train other colleagues as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of software development in enterprise, web, and cloud applications
- Working knowledge with functional, imperative and object-oriented languages and methodologies
- Experience with Java / NodeJS, APIs and services using REST, build automation technologies like Maven/ Gradle, Jenkins, etc
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
