A publicly traded global software company in Boston is looking for a Controller to join its team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be heavily involved in technical accounting matters (particularly ASC 606), while also working closely with corporate accounting and treasury.
Hybrid position – Corporate Accounting, Technical Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury
Perform Technical Accounting research
Develop & implement corporate accounting policies
Key member of the month-end close process
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables are accurate and of the highest quality
Strong problem solver, possessing the ability to see how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together
Excellent communicator, both written and oral, to act as a cross-functional business partner
Highly detail oriented, with an analytical approach to supporting the strategic decision-making process
Ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise with the systems or data
Desire to “roll up your sleeves” – no task can be too big or too small
