Our client, a biotech in Cumberland, Rhode Island, is seeking a document scanner/administrative clerk to perform inventory, scanning, and coordination of documentation. There are a variety different documentation categories, and this individual will require excellent attention to detail to property identify the document category and perform the appropriate actions with minimal supervision. This role is a 4 month+ temporary position and requires onsite work in the Cumberland, RI Office. Proper COVID-19 protocol is in place, must be comfortable working in an office. Job Responsibilities:
· General data entry and administrative functions.
· Primary duties will be copying, scanning, filing and inventory of documentation.
· Collect, scan and upload documents using set procedures.
· Prepare and package documentation for transfer to off-site storage location.
· Labeling and updating paper files
· Putting files, digital or paper, into their proper locations
· Other similar documentation support duties may be required.
Skill Requirements:
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Communicate effectively.
· Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
· Experience with office equipment such as a copier and scanner.
· Ability to learn basic functions other computer programs.
· Excellent spoken and written use of the English language.
· Ability to remain focused while performing repetitive or mundane tasks, such as spending excessive time scanning or organizing files.
· Able lift approximately 35 lbs. (a box of documents)
Pay: $17hr
Hours: 8:30am- 4:30pm
