Work Life balance is amazing: (40-45 hours per week) There are no major deadlines outside of year end, as all of the audits are very much project based.
Focus of Audit Projects: 50% operational / 50% financial
Very cohesive group, great audit leadership in place (both Directors have been with the company for over 5 years and the group has a great track record of internal promotions)
The Audit Leadership is seeking candidates that will not just focus on auditing the “end-result”, but also be very process oriented & strategic, really understand the WHY. (not just check off boxes)
The company is growing and expanding its product lines, active with acquisitions, so there is a need to be “nimble” as you may be placed on an impromptu acquisition audit (very exciting audit work in most cases)
Beautiful office space, with lots of perks & amenities, right in the heart of Boston (accessible by T)
This position is a back-fill for a promotion, the person in the group moved up another operational corporate group. The company (and the IA team) really encourage professional growth across divisions
Travel: Very minimal, most of the internal audit projects are local to the Greater Boston Area. There are other Internal Audit Group spread out globally, but there is some cross-group / functions projects in some cases. Auditors have a “say” on their travel in most cases. Candidates should be ok w 5-10% travel.
Awesome company culture, with an emphasis on hiring top talent & focus on development
2-5 years of Internal or External Audit Experience
CIA / CPA - preferred
Desire to learn, be developed and mentored - required
Ability to research, desire to think about the "why", detail oriented approach - required
