A large ($1 billion in revenue) publicly traded company is looking for an Accounting Manager.
This position manages the daily operations of the accounting department – including supervising, directing and allocating work to the accounting team. It has 5 direct reports. The company has an extremely positive, upbeat and casual culture feel. Having placed a number of people with this client, I’m able to confirm that the work/life balance is excellent across all departments.
Previously experience with publicly traded companies is nice to have but definitely not required. My client is more concerned about finding someone with leadership qualities and a ‘take charge’ attitude as this will be groomed for continued growth. The company is expanding and they expect to scale the Accounting team out further to accommodate. Senior Accountants who are interested in taking the next step in their career are encouraged to apply as well.
