We are seeking a detail oriented and technically savvy Analyst to support the Private Equity Investments Group with a variety of fund operational tasks such as: Investment Analytics & Reporting, PE Fund Profit Distributions, Investor Relations Projects, Cash Flow Projections, Financial Modeling for PE Fund Performance, ad hoc PE Fund Analysis and Trade Recommendations, Trustee Reporting, Quarterly / Annual Tax Projections & Analysis, and more.
This is a complex / global organization, committed to investing in a wide variety of securities including: equities, structured products, mezzanine debt, leverage loans and credit swaps, distressed debt, bonds and more. The structure allows the company to invest in every level of a company’s structure, and provides private equity capital to growing companies. The team is made up of about 15-20 investment operations professionals; the company prides itself on excellent mentorship and training programs.

Private Equity fund analysis, including performance calculations / analysis and trade recommendations.
Manage the PE fund’s monthly, quarterly and annual tax implications, including the review / preparation of appropriate financial statements with reconciliation of various investment transactions.
Investor Relations projects – including preparation of correspondences and various reporting packages
PE Fund distribution / performance - analysis, financial reporting and compliance projects, including interaction with trustees
Various projects around research of each PE fund’s features & structure, and follow up presentations / meetings with senior management with recommendations.
Assisting with set up of new funds (including financial modeling projects around performance, compliance reporting, and more)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Finance, Accounting, Economics concentrations are preferred.
CPA, CFA – highly valued (not required). “In-Process” or “Planned” is a plus.
1-4 years of appropriate experience. Public Accounting – External Audit (with Financial Services, more specifically PE / VC / Hedge Fund Clients) or Taxation (with Partnership Tax Clients) is preferred
Desire to work in a fast paced environment, ability to self-motivate and manage projects, desire & ability to work with complex legal / investment documents and interact with investment partners – required
